Ahh, Mother’s Day- one of our TWO days a year (the other being our birthdays) where we can do whatever we want without guilt. In the past my Mother’s Day has been spent visiting Starved Rock & Matthiessen state parks in Illinois, planting flowers, doing major landscaping and most recently just relaxing. This year I am hoping for more relaxing, but we’re in the middle of some pretty big updates to our cottage so it’s not looking good!
