OpenTable is website that allows diners to book tables at more than 40,000 restaurants throughout the world! Discover new restaurants in your area or wherever you are headed with a couple quick taps. Better yet, if you are in the US, you earn rewards for your reservations. So, not only are you ensured a seat at the table, you are rewarded for doing what many of us love best: going out to dinner.
How does it work?
First, make your dining reservation through the OpenTable app or on their website. Next, honor your reservation. The host or hostess will check you in upon arrival and your rewards will be added to your account. The number of points your reservation is eligible for varies based on the restaurant, date and time you are reserving. Some restaurants offer bonus points of up to 1000 points! Here is the point structure:
- 2,000 Dining Points = $10 Gift Card or $20 Reward Cards
- 5,000 Dining Points = $25 Gift Card or $50 Reward Cards
- 10,000 Dining Points = $50 Gift Card or $100 Reward Cards
Once you have accrued enough points you can either redeem them for the lower dollar amount in the form of an Amazon gift card, or the higher dollar amount in dollars off your next meal at an OpenTable restaurant. Occasionally there are options to donate your points to charity. Easy as pie! You’re going to go out to dinner, you may as well be rewarded for it!
