Liquid Laundry Detergent
Budget101 shows us how to make a homemade laundry detergent that she swears by! I don’t know about you, but I love everything in a jar! Make dispensing the detergent even easier with this leak-free glass beverage dispenser-turned-detergent dispenser.
Powdered Laundry Detergent
If you prefer powdered laundry detergent, this citrus scented recipe uses OxiClean, which is sure to get your clothing clean and smelling amazingly fresh! A cute, air-tight glass canister is the perfect storage solution for this detergent.
Toilet Cleaner
How cute are these heart shaped fizzies! So cute I bet you wouldn’t guess they are for cleaning the dreaded toilet! I love storing items in plain sight in apothecary jars- this set is perfect!
Fabric Softener
These lavender laundry sponges will make your laundry smell amazing and soften your clothing at the same time! They use less liquid than store bought laundry softener so this is super budget-friendly, too.
All-Purpose Cleaner
This homemade all-purpose cleaner is bleach free. Sometimes I like bleach in my cleaner, but a lot of the time I don’t want something quite so harsh…this seems like an awesome substitute for my bleach cleaners!
Dusting Spray
This simple recipe for DIY dusting spray uses 2 ingredients…add essential oils in whatever scent you love if you’d like! I love the smell of citrus in cleaning products because it just feels so fresh and clean!
Glass Cleaner
One Good Thing by Jillee shares how to make this fantastic glass and mirror cleaner with just a few simple ingredients!
Looks Like Happy’s Favorite Cleaning Supplies:
- I love a feather duster for a quick run through the house. I have had a few of these over the years and find the ostrich feather dusters do the best job and hold onto the dust well, too. This one is extra long so you can easily reach the tops of otherwise forgotten areas…like the top of your fridge. 😉
- Keeping all of my cleaning supplies in one convenient caddy makes zipping from room to room a breeze. In addition to cleaning products, I keep a sponge, a scrubby and an old toothbrush in mine.
- I know I keep raving about my Kenmore canister vacuum, but that’s because I LOVE IT. The one I have is discontinued, but I’ve had three so far (my first one lasted about 15 years and I have one at our lakehouse and one at our apartment) and this has been, and will continue to be, my vacuum of choice. They come in different styles with different features so you can easily find one that fits your needs. If you are used to an upright, you will LOVE the versatility of a canister vac. I use mine on hardwood, tile, carpeting, area rugs- you name the surface and it cleans it all!
