I will admit, these ghost chairs are really growing on me! I was not too sure about them at first, but now they seem to pop into my Pinterest feed daily and I am loving them! So much so that I am trying to figure out how to incorporate one into our apartment…. Maybe as a new office chair for myself? That could work….
Anyway, since I am sort of maybe in the market for my very own ghost chair, I have compiled a list of the ghost chairs I like best. Some are acrylic, and others are poly-carbonate. There are pros and cons to both (poly can yellow, acrylic can chip, etc.) so you’ll need to decide which better suits your lifestyle.
Ready for my faves? Here they are!
Up first, this traditional style Modway Casper Modern Acrylic Dining Side Chair is pretty gorgeous! I like that it doesn’t have arms because it would take up less space. I also like that it was $77 at the time this post was written. (But you know Amazon- it could be a lot more, or a lot less, when you click the link.)
This next ghost chair is super fun! I love the curved, waterfall seat and the gold base! The base makes it not quite as ghostly and the gold is a nice accent. Decisions, decisions!
Alonza Series Transparent Side Chair with Gold Base
The Lucent Side Dining Chair is a contemporary version to its traditional counterparts. I like the wider seat back!
The fluid design of this Nesting Series Transparent Side Chair integrates the arms into the flowing design. Available as a single chair or set of 4, these chairs stack to conveniently store away.
The Maritime Acrylic Chair is reminiscent of a sea captain’s chair. I love the brass brushed stainless steel arms & legs! This looks like a very sturdy chair.
This is such a sweet chair! This No Arm Side Chair would be perfect in a dining room, or a feminine office or a little girl’s room. I love the clear floral detail on the top of the back of the chair.
This Chiavari inspired chair Crystal Ice Stacking Ghost Chair might look delicate, but it can hold up to 800 pounds. I love the lattice design on the chair back!
This Louis chair from Poly & Burke is a great knock-off of the original Starck Louis Ghost Chair for a fraction of the cost!
This square backed Lucent Dining Side Chair is a nice change from the usual rounded back. Is classic modern a thing? I think that describes this chair pretty well!
The tear-dropped shaped back on this Ghost Chair is unusual! Definitely a statement piece!
So many cool designs, and all so different from each other! If I had to choose one right now it would be difficult for me to narrow it down between my top three: the Maritime ghost chair with the brushed brass arms and legs, the rounded waterfall seat chair with the gold base, and the knock-off of the original Louis ghost chair from Starck. All are different and all are fabulous! Which would you choose?
