If you haven’t tackled Buffalo Chicken Dip yet, now is the time. It is SO easy. The easiest way to shred chicken is to boil breasts that have been cut into strips until they are cooked thoroughly and then shred them in your stand mixer using the paddle attachment. It takes like 2 minutes and shreds every bit of chicken. SO easy. This recipe has just 5 ingredients and comes together in less than 2o minutes. Pop it in the oven right before guests arrive. Served with taco chips, Fritos or sliced baguettes, everyone loves cheesy appetizers- especially when you use “real” chicken and not the canned variety.
This next dip recipe is ridiculously simple and everyone will *love* it. If you’d like you can sub green onion for Rosemary. (Depending on the time of year and the produce available in your area, green onion may be more cost-effective. That said, I use green onion every time. ) The cranberries add sweetness to this creamy spread that can be served with crackers. For how simple this appetizer is you will be shocked by how everyone loves it!
Jalapeno Popper Dip with a crunchy breadcrumb topping is one of those appetizers that are always crowd-pleasing. Prep it in a cast iron pan for easy oven-to-table serving in a dish that will stay hot through half-time! Mmmm mmmm yummm!
I made this Spicy Creole Shrimp Dip for a holiday party appetizer and it is SO GOOD. The jalapeno and cayenne add nice flavor without being overpowering and a full pound of shrimp ensures you’ll get a good amount in every bite. Served with baguette slices, this is a filling appetizer that you’re pretty much guaranteed will be a new favorite for your friends and family. You may want to pin this recipe to your holiday food board, too- it’s delicious and a fan favorite!
Oh Sweet Basil has a new take on an old favorite by adding ranch dip mix in her Ranch Slow Cooker Chex Mix recipe. Since this is made in the slow cooker you can prep it and walk away until it’s done. I love recipes you can make in advance so you’re not running around like a crazy person before guests arrive! My husband is a huge Chex Mix fan- I may have to surprise him with this treat. Every little bit helps to get us through the Bears games! <insert frustrated fan smiley here>
Fans of Brie cheese will love this vegetarian-friendly Brie Spinach Dip that combines 4 types of cheese with spinach and roasted red peppers. Served with crackers, baguette slices or even strips of red, yellow and orange bell peppers this is a great easy appetizer to whip up for game day.
Speaking of brie, have you seen these brie cheese bakers? I bought one at a little pottery shop in St. Augustine when we were on vacation earlier this year. I haven’t used it yet (because it’s so pretty, lol!) but they hold a brie round perfectly and are supposed to keep the cheese warmer longer!
Buffalo chicken AND beer? That’s so…football! This Buffalo Chicken Beer Cheese dip is sure to be a touchdown at your Super Bowl party! Loaded with flavorful goodness, this dip is sure to go quickly. (Maybe have a second one ready to go in the oven if your friends are ready for more? I think you could freeze it if you don’t need it, too!)
If you are worried about people not liking bleu cheese you can either sprinkle it on half of the dish, or have a small bowl off tot he side for people to spoon onto their dip. I, for one, LOVE bleu cheese. My husband- not so much! (So I call it “gorgonzola” and he eats it. SMH)
If you’ve never tried Smoked Salmon Dip you are missing out! Delicious on baguette slices or crackers. If there is any left- and that is a big IF- you can have it for breakfast or lunch the following day on a bagel. Touchdown!
Once you try this crazy easy dip you’ll know exactly why it is affectionately called “Crack Dip.” Served with potato chips, this will put all other chip dips to shame. You might want to double this recipe and buy an extra bag of chips!
This creamy Honey Apricot Almond Goat Cheese Spread is served with crackers. Since it is a cold dip there is nothing to heat up, making this an easy dish to take to a party. You host will love you fo that!
