Palomino Pasta Sauce
This yummy recipe is the perfect way to dress up ordinary store-bought pasta sauce. Make it once and it is sure to become a family favorite!

Ingredients

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter over low-medium heat.
  2. Add banana pepper and onion, stirring until soft and almost translucent.
  3. Add garlic and stir for 1-2 more minutes.
  4. Stir in flour to absorb the butter.
  5. Add cream and half & half, stirring until bubbly. (You may need to increase the burner heat, but be sure to keep stirring and not scorch the cream.) Stir until the cream begins to thicken.
  6. Add jarred pasta sauce and stir.
  7. Right before serving, stir in the shredded Parmesan cheese.
Recipe Notes

Serve over your favorite pasta- we love bow tie!- and top with additional shredded Parmesan cheese. Add Italian sausage or meatballs, a nice salad and garlic bread and dinner is served!
