Did you know there are certain times a year when you can purchase items at their deepest discounts? And not just on Black Friday. I’m talking year round! For instance, did you know the best time of year to buy a TV is right before the Super Bowl?? Yes, indeed. Most often better pricing than Black Friday, especially if BF sales were down.
Here is your monthly guide for what to buy when:
January- TV’s, Holiday & NYE Clearance Items, Carpeting, Furniture, People’s Unwanted Gift Cards, Computers (new models will be released in the new year.)
February- Valentine’s Day Clearance, Super Bowl paper products (that don’t have the year on them), Home Organization Clearance Items, Winter Gear Clearance Items, Small Electronics, Cellphones, Furniture, Winter Clearance Clothing, Toy Clearance.
March- Golf Clubs, Boats, Frozen Foods, Luggage, Cleaning Supplies, Athletic Gear Clearance.
April- Easter Clearance, Cruises, Home Goods, Vacuums, Snow Blowers.
May- Refrigerators, Mattresses, Soda & Beer (just before Memorial Day), Burgers & Hot Dogs (buy fresh and freeze), Spring Clearance Clothing, Mother’s Day Clearance.
June- Father’s Day Clearance Items, Gym Memberships, Caribbean Vacations (hurricane season is starting soon), Lingerie and Undergarments.
July- Soda & Beer (just before Memorial Day), Cookout Food (buy fresh & freeze), Ice Cream, 4th of July Clearance, Picnic Supplies, Graduation Clearance.
August- Summer Clothing Clearance, Patio Furniture, Back-to-School Snack Items, Swimsuits, Grills.
September- School Supply Clearance, Bikes, Airfare for Holiday Travel, Soda, Beer and Cookout food (just before Labor Day), Lawnmowers, Appliances.
October- Jeans, Final Summer Outdoor Clearance Items (grills, patio, camping, etc.)
November- Halloween Clearance, TV’s/electronics (Black Friday Items), Turkeys (for Thanksgiving, Winter Holidays, etc.), Tools.
December- Holiday Clearance Items, Off-Season Wedding Gowns/Current Year Gowns, NFL Gear for Teams not Going to the Super Bowl, Champagne, Pools.
